Bought the first, exactly the same coat at [site name] That says enough I would say. Wind and water resistance: no complaints. The huge hunting pocket on the back makes it very easy to visit, for example, a trade fair (brochure material) and when shopping. Zipper material second to none.

Barbour Lining Beaufort Olive
The lining, body warmer, mainly bought to get the jacket a bit warmer. The effect is very disappointing. It doesn't really make the jacket warmer.

History Barbour Beaufort

This Barbour Beaufort jacket is one of the Barbour brand's most iconic jackets, first released in 1983 and designed by Margaret Barbour.

Characteristics

Suitable for wearing all year round as the Barbour Beaufort is adjustable by adding the detachable liner and hood. And very practical because of the full-width back pocket, also called the hunting or game bag. Made of 6oz mediumweight waxed cotton with velcro cuffs and the recognizable corduroy collar with studs, this waxcoat Barbour Beaufort classic offers you the ideal protection against rain and wind. The jacket also comes with features such as a sturdy divisible zipper, stud fastening at the front, two generous front pockets and 2 side pockets lined with moleskin at hip height.

Distinctive

Inspired by the French hunting jackets, this Barbour beaufort classic is shorter in length than the traditional other jackets of this brand and has a large back pocket lined with non-smudge Nylon.
